it's their view
In 1996 THE SUSANS went to York Street Studio, Auckland, New Zealand, to record their EP ‘it’s their view”.
The title track went onto gain radio play around New Zealand and was selected for the Kiwi Hit Disk No. 24.
"It’s their view" is dedicated to all those that have ever protested on an issue that they have felt dear to their hearts.
The song features recordings from the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989, commonly known as the June Fourth Incident.
Our intentions are to show that those that are brave enough to stand up for their rights and that of others, have indeed managed to bring change to our world.
We congratulate all those brave enough to do so, those that gave and continue to give a damn about the world we are living in.
